What FoodFriend is

You tell it what you ate, in your own words, and it keeps a running log of your calories and macros. That is the whole product. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for talking to a doctor or a dietitian.

Numbers are estimates

Food data comes from the USDA database, from FatSecret, from nutrition labels, and sometimes from an estimate when nothing matches. Estimated entries are marked as estimates in your log. Do not rely on these figures for medical decisions.

Price and billing

$9 per month. Your first month is free. After the free month your card is charged automatically each month until you cancel. Some people have a code giving them more free months; if so, it is shown when you sign up and again on your account page.

Referral credit: $2 off per month for each friend who signs up on your link and is paying that month. Credit reduces your bill and is never paid out as cash.

Cancelling

Cancel any time by saying so in the chat, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next charge. We do not pro-rate a part-used month, and we do not charge you again after you cancel.

Refunds

If you are charged and you are not happy, email within 30 days and you get that month back. No argument.

Who can use it

18 or over, in the United States.

Your account

We can close an account that is being used to abuse the service or other people. If we close yours and you have paid, you get the unused part back.

The boring part

The service is provided as-is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to what you have paid in the previous twelve months. Utah law applies.
